• Full Void was an exhibition of large-scale charcoal drawings by Tasmanian artists Mary Scott and David Edgar. Through the rich textural qualities of charcoal, the works explored dimensions of darkness, light and shadow, responding to the concept of the void and the Bond Store Basement gallery. In contrast to the traditional concept of the void as an empty space, Scott and Edgar explore it as full of movement and shifting surfaces and depths. This exhibition was supported by Arts Tasmania and the Minister for the Arts, with the assistance of Ten Days on the Island Festival and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.
